Waimea Falls

If you are a nature lover we highly recommend visiting Waimea Falls. Waimea Valley is a short drive from Haleiwa town and is a beautiful botanical garden filled with a variety of native plants and species. The walk to the falls itself is fairly easy and only takes about an hour round trip. Along the way, you will wonderful dispel of native plants and beauty. Once you reach the falls, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning view of the cascading waterfalls. And if you’re feeling brave, you can even take a dip in the refreshing pool at the bottom!

Snorkeling at Sharks Cove

Sharks Cove is one of the best snorkeling spots on Oahu and is a must-visit for any water lovers out there. The cove is located at Pupukea Beach Park and is known for its clear waters and abundance of marine life. If you don’t have your own snorkeling gear, don’t worry, you can rent snorkeling gear from Surf N Sea. And don’t worry – you can’t let the name scare you off. There are no sharks in this area, and its name comes from the outline of the reef that can look like a shark depending on where you look at it from.

Checking out the shops and restaurants in Haleiwa Town

After a day of exploring, you’ll probably work up an appetite. Haleiwa has a variety of yummy restaurants that will satisfy your hunger. Kua Aina is a local hamburger and sandwich shop that has become world famous and comes highly recommended. This quaint town is also home to a variety of gift shops, as well as a number of art galleries and boutiques. And if you’re looking for souvenirs, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of unique shops on offer.

Viewing the sunset from Waimea Bay

One of the best things about Oahu’s North Shore is that it offers some of the most incredible sunsets in the world. And there’s no better place to watch the sunset than from Waimea Bay. This world-famous bay is renowned for its huge waves, which make it a popular spot for surfing.
